Dear Gemma, Jim, and Dimitri, I often think about your family and all the grieving you've had to due since Milli passed away.  I pray for you during those times.  I knew Milli through the Saturday 5:30 Mass choir and I was a substitute teacher for her Film Production class.  My favorite memory of her was at one of Peggy O'Neill's after Mass Christmas Eve parties.  Milli had made up several puzzles for the party  entertainment.  They were cryptic combinations of letters, symbols, and pictures.  If you deciphered the puzzle, it was the name of a Christmas carol.  It was a fun activity and it was so thoughtful of Milli to make them and share them.  The day I subbed for Film Production Milli's film was shown.  A portion of it showed Dimitri at about age 5 wearing a jumping on the bed while wearing a pair of angel wings.  It is a rare teenager who would give such a starring role to her younger sibling.  But Milli was like that.  She loved her family and was not shy about showing it.  Another example of her closeness to family is when I would occasionally see her and Jim riding their bicycles around Duncanville.  I know how proud you were of her when she worked her way up to becoming the manager for a restaurant in Cedar Hill.   Tom and I went there on a busy night.  Even though she was swamped at work she took time out to come by our table and chat with us for a few moments.  Thinking of Milli reminds me of other memories with your family: Gemma and I helping Peggy O'Neill during her final years, Jim and I working on the Friends of the Library book sale, and attending Dimitri's Baptism followed by the celebration party hosted by Trisha and Russell Gully.  You are in my thoughts.
Two years have passed since you’ve been gone, not a day goes by that you don’t cross through my mind. I miss you so much amiga

The memories and words, ideas and dreams that she stirred in us are proof of the privilege that we all share in experiencing a part of her story. I grieve in the thought of Her passing on, and my heart hurts for Her family. Remember Her, and re-live the lessons we learned from Her with others. Pass on the joy, the enthusiasm and the excitement that She taught us in this life.

I want to send my deepest condolences to the McGuire family! When Josheen told me about Millie’s passing, it just broke my heart. We talked about the memory of all three of us attending Disney on Ice at the American Airlines Center when Millie was a little girl❤️ I will keep that memory of Millie. Her sweet sweet spirit and her beautiful smile! The family will forever be in my thoughts and prayers!

Total hippie chic, she came out all the way to Denton to visit me at the university art festival.
Mill was always there when I needed someone to talk to, every time without a doubt she’d show up and vise versa. she always knew just what to say to put a smile on my face, and if I couldn’t smile she’d sit there and cry with me. So many nights she would come over to my house and we’d sit on my porch and just talk. I’m going to miss you Very much Mipp, your laugh was something else, your happy spirit lifted so many. You were such an overall loving person.

This tribute tattoo I designed represents my adventures with Mipp. The necklace i bought her that she loved wearing all the time. The kitties at the bottom was from what I gave her after the fire, which she traveled with. The voodoo hat was from our trip to New Orleans and our love for hauntings. Even the font used was from her favorite posters. All together this one is for you Mipp, I’ll always love you mi amiga. Till we see each other again , remember to say you are beautiful while you’re up there.
