MARION – Miles Ray Joye, 69, died Friday, January 5, 2024, after a 3-year courageous battle with cancer.
Ray was born in Georgetown County, South Carolina, a son of the late Miles Lester and Loretta Brown Joye. He graduated from Marion High School and served an enlistment in the U.S. Navy. He was a Viet Nam veteran, having served on the USS America in the Tonkin Gulf. He was retired from …
