Mildred H. Robinson was born April 20, 1934 to Alyce V. Hairston-Robinson and Henry J. Robinson. She was the oldest of three girls, Henrietta (deceased) and Marva. She was born in Charleston West Virginia and later settled in Cleveland Ohio in 1954 after a couple of years of graduating Garnett High School.
