To my dear departed friend Millie,

I remember our dinner party with you, me, and Christina, how you indulged my guilty pleasure, 90 Day Fiancé, and kept me laughing the entire night with your sharp, hilarious insights. It is one of those memories that feels warm and alive, like I can still hear your voice.

I think about the time I did my sociology project on you too. Learning about your life, your family, and everything you had been through made me admire you even more. You carried so much resilience, and yet you led with love, humor, and grace in a way that made everyone around you feel it.

You truly had a beautiful life, one filled with strength, laughter, and connection. And I feel so lucky that I got to be a small part of it.

I will miss you forever, dear friend.

With love,Amber

Our Dear Millie was always ready to help when she could and with all her heart. So many random acts of kindness like just getting Aldo his favorite Italian pastry, just because! One of my most touching memories was when our dog, Bijoux, died. Our sons were young men and this was a first for them. It was the morning of our meeting and we were all gutted. But, we went to our meeting anyways and decided that after we got home we would have our own little private "service" for her. We got home and started working on preparing where we were going to bury her. Then, here comes Dear Millie and our good friend Robin to support our family during a very hard time that not everyone understands. But she did. Because she was Millie. She is in the best of hands and we look forward to seeing her soon. With love from the Minchellas.

There are so many moments with my dear friend Millie that live on in my heart. One I especially cherish is our thrift shopping escapades—she had such a keen eye for finding the best treasures. But more than anything, it was the time spent with her that I treasure the most.

Her nonjudgmental nature, paired with her deep compassion, made her someone truly rare—someone to be cherished and deeply admired. I will never forget the care and love she showed me when I became severely ill just months ago. She went above and beyond, not only for me, but for my family as well—simply because that was who she was.

She meant the world to me, and I aspire to grow into the kind of person she was. I look forward with all my heart to the day I can see her again, and when I do, I hope to stand before her as someone she would be proud of.

With deepest love and sympathy,

Tiana

I heard it said sometimes it's hard to understand the loss of one so dear. But the comfort of a Loving God(Jehovah) is always very near. So may it help to ease the pain and sadness that we all feel, for there's no sorrow on this earth that Jehovah God cannot heal. I'm looking forward to the day when I will see and embrace my dear friend Millie who's heart was always open to share such words of encouragement always lending her time and 🫂 to lift your day. You will always be my SHERO!!!!!!! My condolences to her beautiful family and friends. Warmest affection ❣️
I met Millie working at a restaurant about 40 years ago,  a few years later I met her at the Kingdom Hall we both were surprised to see each other      we always laughed a lot and would say who was the most corny her or I.    I think it was her 💕  she would say she was jealous I could sew or do something creative. I would say I was jealous of her brains she was so smart and had a great memory.    she was a very special person who we’ll be missed

A photo of the pastel portrait by a local artist. Millie was 13, and wore the same red shirt many Saturday mornings for hours while this was done. It was one of my favorite things to look at in our living room, and when Millie went off to college, I was reminded daily that she would be home. I missed her so much when she left.
Millie was kind and patient with me as I began to learn how to be Christian...She took me to the beach, shared her friends and children, and helped me begin to learn humility. I love her.

My earliest memories of Millie were the stories she made up for me every evening involving the pink and blue fairy princess in the sky.  They were fantastical stories brought to life with lots of plot turns and my sister narrating in different voices.  Oh how I loved those stories she told me each evening after dinner, pushing me on the swings.  Time stood still and I always knew I was the luckiest little sister on the planet.  Honestly, I don’t know how I move forward without her.

"Everything will be alright in the end. If it’s not alright, it’s not the end." - I love this so much, what a beautiful favorite quote she had.  I only met Mama Millie once, I wish I had a chance to know her better she sounds amazing.  Sending love and condolences to all those who loved her most
