Mildred's obituary

Mildred E. Johnson, of Meridianville, AL passed away on October 29, 2019. Mildred donated her remains to the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. She was born and reared in Columbus, OH. Mildred earned her master's degree from The Ohio State University and her bachelor's from Ohio Northern University where she served on the board of trustees for many years. She was a 1969 graduate of Marion-Franklin High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Alfreda (Moore) Johnson. She is survived by two sisters, Deborah Neal (Ray Guillory) of Montgomery, AL, Phyllis Roberts (Clarence) of Harvest, AL, significant other, Mr. Joe Washington, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held on November 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Luke Christian Church, 1800 Sparkman Dr NW, Huntsville, AL 35816. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ohio Northern University, ATTN: Shannon Spencer, 525 South Main St., Ada, OH 45810, in memory of Mildred E. Johnson.
