Mildred's obituary
M. C. is survived by her only child, Shalom Serene Dickson, who lived with her in Knoxville, TN.
M. C. acquired a Masters Degree in English from George Peabody College (now a part of Vanderbilt University), and her Bachelors Degree from Tennessee Technological University.
M. C. was a wonderful teacher, who worked at Largo Senior High School in Florida as well as Goodlettsville High School in Tennessee.
She loved her students and never compromised their learning for the lower standards of many others.
