Mildred's obituary
We sadly announce the passing of Mildred Fludd, a beloved woman who was born on August 13, 1926 and passed away on January 6, 2025. Mildred leaves behind a legacy of faith, humility, and grace that touched the lives of all who knew her.
Mildred devoted the majority of her life to her lord and savior. Even in retirement, she kept active, her favorite activity being showing pictures of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her face would light up with joy and pride whenever she shared these treasured moments.
Throughout her life, Mildred consistently demonstrated her devotion, joyfulness, persistence, piety, and faithfulness. These qualities were vividly seen in her passionate involvement in her church and community. Her volunteering work showed her deep commitment to serving others and making a difference.
One of her favorite verses, "Galatians 3:26: So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith", encapsulates the wisdom she shared with others. Mildred deeply believed in this teaching, manifesting it in her daily actions and life choices.
Mildred’s accomplishments were many. She was particularly proud of her award-winning vegetable garden. Yet, her greatest accomplishment and joy came from her family - her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Each generation reflected the values she lived by and taught them to emulate.
Mildred's passing is a significant loss to all who knew her. Her rich legacy of faith, humility, and grace will forever be remembered and cherished. Millie will be sorely missed by everyone who had the fortune to meet her.
