Mike Yang (Vam Neeb Yaj), 77, peacefully passed away Thursday, September 30th, 2021, at his home in Appleton, WI. He was born on March 2nd, 1944, to Nhia Vue and Mai (Yang). He worked as a police officer in Laos until he was drafted into the military to serve during the Vietnam War. He and his family were of the first Hmong generation to immigrate to the United States in 1975.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Yang, and children Joua (Tony), Kayee (Michelle), Chua, Vong, Mary (Al), Be (May), Joone (Jonathan), and Mao. He’s also survived by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Becky Yang.
Funeral arrangements will be held at Ever Lasting Hall (2101 American Drive, Little Chute, WI) on October 23rd-24th.
