I can’t believe it’s been a year already. We worked at Healthstream on the same team. I just wanted to share that his passing really impacted me. I see how time is fleeting and caused me to embark on a new dream. To take a risk while I can to pursue a passion of mine. I will always thank him for playing a role in that. Mike was a coworker of mine. We worked together for a year and a half. No matter what was going on, he was always so encouraging and did his best to make work fun. He was one of those people who would ask how you were doing and expect an honest answer. He was a kind and upbeat person who contributed a lot to our team, and he will be severely missed. I first met Mike when I was a sophomore in high school. We had computers class together and we were partners for a software project when a couple girls were threatening me over my boyfriend (who later became my husband) and Mike stood up for me and told them to grow up and leave me alone. He barely knew me and he stood up for me without any hesitation. We became good friends after this. I will never forget his kindness , his infectious smile and friendship. He was truly a special man. I know the good Lord made him an Angel and he’s watching over his loved ones today.
