I was so saddened to hear of Mike and Vicky's passing. I never met Vicky, but I understand that Mike and Vicky were soulmates. I met Mike almost 50 years ago, when we were teenagers, through mutual friends. We were part of a larger group of friends who met through Blue Ridge Acres, and probably first met at a party or at the pool. Many, many times over the years we would stop in at Sweet Springs on the way to our friend’s cabin on the mountain in Harper’s Ferry. Those are such fond memories! Mike would be there at the counter, we’d pick up essentials for the weekend, chat, catch up on the latest, and then head out for a weekend away from the city. Visited Mike a number of times at his home behind the store. It was always a nice time. Mike was also present at a number of cookouts down by the river in BRACC. If I can locate any of my old pics, I will post them here. When I had a traumatic car accident in 2021, Mike was the first to reach out and recommend some holistic medicine advice on how best to heal from the accident. He was a very caring individual who had a good heart. I am so sad he is no longer with us. I can’t really imagine it, honestly. I hadn’t seen him in years, but I often remembered and thought of him. May he and Vicky rest together in God’s arms forever. Peace.

I was shocked and broken hearted when I heard the news of Mike and Vicky's passing. I had known them only a short time but they were two amazing people. It's been almost a year and I often think of them. Wish I could have known them longer, done more to help... All the wishes.
I hope that friends and family are able to enjoy the good memories and process the grief. Time helps but it never heals everything.
Still missing you both, Mike and Vicky!
