Mikaylah's obituary
Mikaylah Lynn Green “Red”, age 27, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 in Lonoke, AR after a long battle with addiction.
Mikaylah was born in Biloxi, MS at Keesler AFB. She grew up and traveled to many different states including Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, Indiana, and most recently Arkansas. Kaylah was the oldest of her siblings and was dedicated to her brothers & sisters. Kaylah was able to obtain her GED in 2014 and her greatest accomplishment was becoming a mother to her beloved daughter, Julia Jean on January 11, 2021. She married Jake Jones, on June 11, 2022.
Kaylah had a beautiful smile and heart of gold; anyone that met her became her instant friend. She strived to always find the good in people even when she was in her darkest moments. She was funny, kind, charismatic, loyal and loved. Kaylah was loved by so many and encouraged even when her family and friends did not agree with her life choices. Family and friends will always cherish and share the good times and memories that were made with her. Kaylah fought had for sobriety and to overcome the demons that she faced throughout her life. She had completed and showed success in rehab and AA/NA, but ultimately a relapse took her and resulted in her accidental overdose.
Kaylah is proceeded in death is her Paw Paw Ben Stickland, sister Serina Jordan, and her mother Melinda Fisher Kaylah is survived by her daughter Julia, husband Jake, father Mike Green (Colleen), her siblings, Alex and Daniel Strickland, George and Katherine Green, and grandparents, Sandy Gallaher(maternal), Jeff and Kathy Green (paternal) plus a myriad of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that were like her family.
Kaylah’s life will be celebrated on November 30, 2024 at 11am to 3pm in Hicksville OH at her family home.
