Mika was always the warm light during difficult times.  There was literally nothing Mika would not do to help another.  It was a true honor and privilege to know Mika.

Mika  was a force,  a rarity and a wonder.  I will always remember and miss her kind words, warm smiles and hugs.

May Mika be surrounded by  peonies and held by all the arms she has lifted in her life.

Mika was one of the first persons I met when I started working for Kaiser over 25 years ago. Throughout the years she always exuded joy and she was always willing to help others. She was kind and generous. She made our work environment and the community a better place. I will miss her light and positive energy.

I met Mika when I transferred to Napa Kaiser about three years ago and I knew she was my kindred spirit. Her infectious smile, warm hugs, and beautiful laughter was the highlight of my day. She was one of the most beautiful human beings I have ever encountered. I will forever be grateful for her interest in my well being and making sure I had support. She stood by me in difficult times and was always there when I called. She could fix any issue and could find an answer for any challenge. As a coworker she was our star and as a friend she was our sweetheart. Her faith and love carried us through. God bless your family in this difficult time. Heaven has truly gained a beautiful Angel! I will miss you my friend. Love you more.

Mika's perpetual friendliness will be greatly missed by all those with whom she came in contact.  Mika came to me for encouragement when she decided to return to school. Her unwavering determination saw her through her studies and completion of two degrees. The last time I spoke with her she told me she was thinking of pursuing a third degree in counseling.

I knew Mika for many years through our shared KP employment. In my retirement she was the welcoming smile and helpful advocate at the entrance of the Napa Medical Offices. She never missed a beat during COVID or a chance to help out in the Vallejo or Vacaville ED, especially on holiday shifts.

Mika's deep and lived faith was part and parcel to her life and sustained her throughout her days. She will rest peacefully in eternity. Those of us who knew her will mourn her passing but smile in memory of our many "Mika encounters."

Deepest condolences to Mika's loving family and her countless friends,

Lynne and Don Baker
