Miguel A. Mendez passed away on January 9, 2026, in Philadelphia, PA. He was born on February 26, 1974, in Newark, NJ, to Cecilia Mendez (Delia) and Anthony J. Vitacco (Tony).

Miguel was a loving father, brother, and family man. He is survived by his two children, Lovemarie Mendez and Miguel Mendez, and his four beloved grandchildren. He also leaves behind his brothers Hector Mendez and Rocco Mendez, and his sister Frances Mendez.

Miguel was an amazing soul who deeply loved his family. He had a kind heart and was always willing to help others, just as his mother did. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Miguel is now resting peacefully with his mom and dad.
