Michelle Taylor Shoaff 47, of Texas City Texas, passed away September 8th, 2022, surrounded by loved ones.

She was born in New Castle, PA on July 3rd, 1975 a daughter of William Briggs and Sandra. On June 1st, 1999 she married her loving husband Matthew C Shoaff 3rd.

Michelle graduated from Laurel High school in 1992. She further received a masters degree in childhood education from Slippery Rock College. She devoted her career to teaching elementary school until she and Matt began their family, at which time she dedicated her time to lovingly caring for her daughter, Stephanie and step sons Cameron and Jake. She found happiness in nurturing young people and joy in watching people succeed. Michelle loved healthy competition and would not be afraid to challenge people. Michelle will be remembered for her love of get togethers and weekly card games with her sister in-law Kristen.

Michelle is reunited in heaven with her brother, Charles Briggs and brother in-law Scott Shoaff.

She is survived by her loving husband, Matthew C Shoaff 3rd; parents, William Briggs and Sandra Taylor; daughter Stephanie Shoaff; sisters (in-law), Brandy Starkey and Kristen Voland; brothers in-law, Joshua Shoaff, Justin Shoaff, and Jamie Shoaff; 2 grandchildren, numerous adopted siblings and friends.

An officiated Celebration of Life gathering will be held from 3-5 pm on Tuesday September 13th, 2022 at the family home in Texas City Texas.
