Dear Linda, Sonny and family,

My heart feels so sad after Michelle's passing.  I was so anxious for her arrival here in Auburn so that I could give Linda and Michelle a huge hug! Of course, that did not happen.  Please know Linda, that I have prayed daily for you and your family over your tremendous loss.

Michelle was one of the most singular human beings I could ever have hoped to meet.  

I have so many thoughts, and so many feelings, but the only thing that feels right to say here is this: 

Michelle, I will miss you for the rest of my life. Sasha will miss you.  

There was no qualifier for you. You just loved, and you always gave whatever you had.

I was [ heartbroken ] when I heard the news of beautiful, sweet,  Michelle's passing. I had been in touch with her in the last month of her life. Wishing she would get well enough, to come back closer to what she called home. I was the mother to one of her dear friends in Auburn. She will now be met by Jamar at those beautiful gates of heaven. She told me she couldn't wait to see her friends.  No more pain, sweetheart.  You were loved so much, Michelle.  My condolences to the Penrod and the Graaf family. I will also keep you all in my prayers.
