Michelle Lee Buck, 45, of Amarillo passed away on Wednesday May 1st, 2024, surrounded by her family.

Michelle’s pride and joy were her three children, but she treated every kid who found a place in her home as her own and welcomed them into her family and life. Her favorite activities were cruises, karaoke, concerts, camping at the lake, and spending time with friends around a firepit. She loved traveling to see her friends and family; her favorite traveling companions were her surviving children: Christian and Teagan. Caring for her oldest daughter, Lauren, defined much of her early years as a mother and proves paramount in defining the Buck family to this day. She was a devoted mother, especially to youngest daughter Teagan, her “mini me”, and spent much of her time supporting Teagan in gymnastics, softball, and wrestling.

Michelle is preceded in death by her daughter, Lauren Michelle Buck; her father, Everett H. Hendricks, Jr.; mother, Leslie Harlan; and sister, Evonne Hendricks. She is survived by her son, Christian Buck (and wife Emily), and daughter, “Kenzie” Teagan Makenzie Buck.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home in Amarillo. The service to celebrate Michelle’s life is scheduled at Boxwell Brothers Ivy Chapel for Monday, May 6, 2024 at 2 p.m. It will be followed by a procession to her resting place beside her eldest daughter at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon.
