On Friday, December 4th, 2020, Michele Louise Stokes passed away at the age of 50. Michele was born on April 19th, 1970 in Portland, Oregon to Connie and Earl Stokes. Throughout her life, Michele was faced with many obstacles and experienced a great deal of tough times. Michele continuously rose above all the challenges that she encountered despite the immense frustration she would experience at times. People were often envious of her positive attitude and her ability to keep a smile on her face regardless of any current or ongoing stressors. She was a resilient woman who knew what she wanted and when she wanted it. She made friends every where she went and had a joyful/lively spirit that was infectious to many. She was well loved by the up and out community and her day program (Eastside Explorers) whom of which supported her for several years. It has been an absolute pleasure to have known such a kind and beautiful soul. She is and will be deeply missed. Although she is gone, she has made a lasting impact on all our lives in a way that she will never be forgotten. Goodbye dear friend, may you rest in peace.
