She was my older brothers girlfriend...Dan Salsgiver...She was such a sweetheart...I miss them both...
Happy Heavenly Birthday Michele❣️I know your singing Rock & Roll 🎤 for all to hear. Forever missed.❤️💐🎈
Michele and I hit it off from the 1st day I started with Up & Out, her & I would spend lots of time making crafts, going to get her Pop at McDonald’s and taking walks around the neighborhood with her saying Hi & talking with anyone we encountered. Michele loved Rock & Roll and once the music came on she would say look at me Penny, while dancing in her chair with her unforgettable smile. She held a special place in my heart during my time with her and will be forever missed.

In lieu of flowers

I loved going with Michele to her church on Lombard street. Michele loved to go there with her friend and we would all sit in the back and Michele loved to sing the songs in the hymnal. After church everyone went downstairs and Michele was with her family, these church members who have known her all her life. She loved getting a plate of food and visiting with all her friends and catching up. The church members really cared about her and showed her lots of care and affection. It is a very unique community and one of the many joys I had the opportunity to view taking care of Michele.
Michele loved to walk down to the neighborhood bar with me when I was her staff. Everyone at the bar loved Michele and she had long-term friendships with other regulars and with the bartenders. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with Michele.

I had the honor of working closely with Michele at a time in my life when I had no idea what I wanted to do with with my degree. She impacted me more than I probably realize and while I didn't stay in the exact same field Michele inspired me to embrace differences and live life to the absolute fullest, and is a big reason why I am so dedicated and drawn to helping others and decided to go back to school to build on that. We had so many adventures and I am incredibly grateful my journey led me to know such an amazing, unique person. I can still hear her exclaiming "Cole! COLE! COOOOOLE". Her hugs honestly can't compare to anything, she always somehow knew when I really needed one, no words needed. My heart is heavy learning this news, but it brings some peace knowing she's with loved ones and is probably sipping a nice pop right now. Rest in peace beautiful 💖💖
Michele was always full of hugs and smiles anytime I saw her from the moment I met her in 2003. She had a smile that could light up the darkest of days and a hug that could squeeze the stress right out of you. She was always curious about what time you would be back to see her, or what time you would have someone she cared about back at the home. Her inquisitive nature was an absolute delight even with frequent repetition of the answers to give her. It has been an absolute pleasure knowing her over the years and I will definitely miss her "everyday long!"
For the time working with Michele she called me her advocate, which was such an honor for me. Her positive outlook on life was a driving force for me to make it through nursing school and I can say that I won’t ever forget her and her beautiful smile. She impacted my life and I don’t think there will ever be a proper way to thank her. But I know she’s up there in heaven with her family, the purple, kitty cats and pop she could ever dream. You will be missed so dearly. Thank you for sharing a small piece of your life with me in the time we had. Love, advocate 💓
