A year later and I can still remember Michele’s great love of life and the springtime. These are happy memories of a sweet cousin who gave so much joy to her family and friends. Through happy tears she is greatly missed but I know she is smiling down on us with love and that beautiful ❤️! Sending love to David, Shawn, Cody, and their families and friends who were blessed to know and love Michele!
“There is a sacredness in tears. They are not the mark of weakness, but of power. Tears speak more eloquently than ten thousand tongues. They are messengers of overwhelming grief...and of unspeakable love.”
—Washington Irving
It’s alright to cry for what you have lost. We are crying with you. Go ahead and cry..,we’ll catch your tears. And one day, tears of sorrow will become sweet smiles of memory. ❤️
With our love and sympathy,
Robin & Marc
“We never really lose those dear to us. Their familiar voices whisper to us when we are alone. Their images return to us in dreams. And while we are saddened by their departure, in time, our sorrow fades and is replaced by vivid memories of happy times spent together. Those memories live on forever with us and give us comfort and allow us to find peace.”
We love you, David, Shawn, Ashley, Cody, Candace and Jack.
With our deepest sympathy,
Robin & Marc Orton

I consider myself extremely lucky and blessed to have called Michele (and her beloved soul mate Dave) my friends for years. We shared many happy memories together. Michele was a sweetheart...kind, loving, funny as hell, deeply devoted to "her boys"...the ones with two legs and the one with four legs, devoted to her extended family and friends as well. She was a breath of fresh air....the anticipation of springtime (I anxiously looked forward to her springtime countdown on FB each year), and she could be found in the gentle breezes and rhythm of the ocean waves. Michele was beautiful inside and out and was loved by so many and will be greatly missed by so many as well. My heart goes out to Dave, Shawn and Ashley and Cody, and Jack as well as you all try to navigate through this unspeakable sorrow knowing how much Michele loved you all and how she will remain not only in all of your memories but in your heart as well...for always. If there is ANYTHING I can do please let me know. I loved Michele and I love you. Holly

It is such a sadness to have lost such a beautiful soul so soon. Michele had a great love of the things that mattered most in this life. Happy memories of our childhood days at Wildwood, our summer stays at Nana and Dzia Dzia's store and house, holiday celebrations and 4th of July picnics at her parents' house, our fun at the movies and Beach Boys concerts, and sharing in our weddings have filled my mind in recent days, bringing smiles through my tears. I so loved to laugh and be with her, growing up with our teen magazines and comic book excursions. Always a sweet, kind, and generous cousin. Our hearts ache for you David, Shawn and Cody. Your amazing wife and mother was a beautiful person inside and out. She will be greatly missed and loved forever. Sending you all our prayers for strength and love always. May you rest in peace sweet Michele, knowing how your generous and loving heart touched so many, reminding us all, what matters most in this life. Barbara and Philip Kidder

Dear Michele, our sweet, kind friend.
I wish we had had the time to say all of this before your time on earth came to an end. So much left unsaid in our hearts. We want you to know that we loved you beyond compare and will miss you profoundly...your generosity, your warm smile, your kindness, your infectious laughter, your bright eyes, and most of all , your kind and open heart. We will never stop
being grateful for every moment of the time we were lucky enough to spend together. When we listen to music, we will hear you in all of our favorite songs. When we see art that touches our souls, we will find your spirit in all of the brushstrokes. When we look up at the nighttime heavens, and the stars are soft and bright, we will see you in the sky. When we watch the ocean roll onto the shore, we will hear you in the waves. When winter turns to spring, we will feel your spirit in those moments; we will see you in the new life, in the budding trees and the blooming flowers and all the new spring babies. When we are feeling happy, we will remember what it felt like to be with you—how wonderful and treasured those memories will be for us—and we will know that you are watching over us. We want you to know that you will be in our hearts forever. We miss you. And since you aren’t able to hug your loving husband and sons yourself right now, we promise to do that for you each and every time we see them. The world will
never be the same without you. But it is sooooo much better because you were here. Godspeed, and may the songs of your favorite birds sing you to your rest. ❤️
