My aunt Michele. A soothing voice, a brilliant smile, a radiating heart. A safe person for our family.

So many memories flood my mind and heart of her - especially when I was young. She was a pillar of my childhood. (So much so that time with her was my "reward" for successfully potty training as a toddler LOL).

Rest now, Aunt Michele. Rest in the arms of Jesus.

I filled this out on mom’s birthday one year:

***ADULT daughters... How well do you know your MOM? This is tougher than you may think😯

What is she probably doing right now? Playing with Ava, crocheting, on her iPad, cleaning or prepping dinner, trying to stay calm, talking on the phone, looking at Pinterest, all at the same time

Name something she hates? Cancer, crude comedies/humor, selfishness, feeling lonely, feeling crummy, when her kids/grandkids aren’t well

What does she like to drink? Coffee, water, a little slug of Pepsi

Cats or dogs? dogs

What is something she collects? Yarn, pajama pants and slippers haha

What is her favorite color? ....umm blue?

What would she never wear? Itchy clothes, tank tops, g-string, stilettos

What could she spend all day doing? Crocheting, playing with grandkids

Who is her favorite child? Robbie

What is her favorite restaurant? Rosas

Where would she rather be right now? Up north or at the beach or surrounded by all her kids and grandkids in one place

You’re in jail and you call her, what is her response?: “are you ok? Dad and I will come get you”

Michele was such a precious friend! She had a huge desire to help those in need. I remember her buying glasses for a disabled child at the school  where she worked and loved all of the misfortunate children she worked with. She gave food to hungry people on the streets and loved on so many people. I loved her so much! Our almost weekly adventure was to go to the cubs park and walk around and sit in the sunshine. Sometimes we would go to JoAnn fabric and craft store to get materials to do more crafts! We had so many talks and hugs and cried and laughed at life together! I miss her so much! She had a huge impact on my life and I’m looking forward to seeing her again when we all are gathered in heaven, where there will be no more sickness or tears.
