Michele Mae Blackledge, age 49, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 19, 2024.

She is lovingly remembered by her children, Samuel A. Van and Alyssa C. Tate. Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Frank A. Blackledge and MaryLou D. Blackledge, as well as her sisters Patricia and Lesley.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Michele’s life at a memorial service on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Celebration Church, located at 7500 W Judge Perez Dr., Arabi, LA. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass Service at 10:00 a.m.

Michele leaves behind a legacy of love that radiated through her warm smile and kind heart. Her strength and wisdom were guiding lights to those fortunate enough to know her. She touched countless lives with her compassion and left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.

As we say goodbye to Michele, we hold tightly to the memories she gifted us—reminders of her enduring spirit that will forever live within us. May her beautiful soul find eternal peace in the embrace of everlasting love.
