Micheal's obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Micheal Sobota, who was born on June 28, 1955, and left us on December 3, 2025. Known for his kindness and friendly disposition. Micheal touched the lives of many with his warm-hearted nature.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn Sobota, who stood by his side in every phase of life, as well as his two children; Jean Wheeler and John Wilson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; Chris, Whitney, Max, Johnathan, Seth, and Emarie, all of which continue to honor his memory, and a seventh grandchild, Zackary, who preceded him in death.
Micheal's life was marked by a profound acceptance and respect for all individuals, and he always encouraged others to follow suit. This is a lesson that will remain imprinted in the hearts of those who knew him.
Micheal spent much of his professional life working as a foreman for QB. He also served as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), a role that was deeply important to him. He was committed to helping others in their time of need, and the impact of his work continues to resonate within the community.
Some of Micheal's key beliefs was that everyone makes mistakes and it's through these errors we learn and grow. He firmly believed it's God's job to judge us, not ours. He also was dedicated to helping others that couldn't help themselves, demonstrated by his dedication to his work as an EMT. These wise insights are his enduring legacy.
An ardent lover of the outdoors, Micheal found joy in hunting and being in the mountains. The tranquility and beauty of nature were his sanctuary and source of inspiration. He loved "God's country."
A memorial service to honor Micheal's life will be held on Saturday December 20, 2025 at 5:00 PM at St. Charles Catholic Church. We invite all those who were touched by Micheal's life to join us in remembering his wonderful spirit.
In the wake of Micheal's departure, we take comfort in the memories he leaves behind and the lessons he shared. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy will continue to live on in our hearts.
