I remember Mike was bright eyed and athletic. He was shorter than some of the other kids but he was a leader with a fierce spirit. I remember Julie, another group home staff, gave him an apron to help her cook. He put it on and started mimicking me right away. All the kids and staff laughed. He had my mannerisms and speech pattern down pat. Mike was a clever and funny kid. I'm sorry he is gone so soon. I wish I could have seen him again. I used to look for him but I never located him. Prayers for all the family and friends. 

Micheal is and will always be my step dad and real dad in my heart he was my mom's fiance and my mom's name is crystal croan
