Michael Chapman, a beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend, earned his wings on May 26, 2024.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on August 7, 1956, Michael was one of six siblings.

In 1982, he met the love of his life, Anita, and they were married the same year. Together, they built a family and were blessed to share five children and seven grandchildren.

Michael began his career in construction but found his true passion in the transportation industry. He dedicated over three decades of his life as a logistics consultant and engineer, leaving a lasting impact in his field.

A man of many loves, Michael cherished USC football, BBQ ribs, Coca-Cola, sports cars and the music of Led Zeppelin. He found peace in the California ocean views and took great pride in caring for his rose garden. Known for being the quietest yet most talkative person you could ever meet, Michael’s unique charm and presence will be deeply missed. 

Micheals wishes were to be remembered as he was and in honor of his request there will be no viewing or funeral services. Micheal is survived by his loving wife, Anita, and his devoted family, who will forever remember and honor his memory.
