The incomparable Michael Woodley was chosen by GOD to transcend on January 03, 2023. We weren’t ready to lose him but know that he is in a much better place. Michael was diagnosed with leukodystrophy disease at the age of 1 year and 11 months in November of 2008. Throughout his later years, he was an absolute warrior, enduring so much with so little complaint. He stands in our hearts as a reminder of strength, perseverance, love, and compassion. Though we will mourn his loss daily, we know we will be reunited in time. 

Michael did not let leukodystrophy define him and instead threw himself into school, his friends and living life! He spent hours drumming anything he could, watching his favorite cartoons and making his mom laugh. Michael is survived by his adopted mother Patricia; his biological father Doryahn, his biological mother Johnette and his brothers and sisters Isaiah, Johnte, Ahnika, Ryahnna, Jamir, Noah, King and DJ (Demetrius); his aunt Una and his uncle Mario, his favorite cousins Eboni and Mario II as well as a host of other family, friends and classmates. We also want to acknowledge one of his best friends, Jeremiah (Nelson). He is predeceased by his uncle Kiki (Ivan). They stood by him and were incredibly important and supportive of him. Please join us in celebrating the life of Michael.  A funeral will be held with a reception to follow and will be announced privately.
