Mike worked on plumbing supplies and he gave me a sink drainer that I use every day and I think of him. I prayed for him daily and now I pray for Mary and Owen when I use the sink drainer. He taught me to be kind and love every one. We agreed on most every thing. He was a great husband and father to Mary and Owen. He taught me how to do things. He was smart and knew a lot of information. He taught me games to play at their home. He showed me how kind he was to people. He was a mentor and a leader to his students that they had at their home in the Second language program.

Mike was a dear friend and loved by all the Doherty family for many years. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten. The memories we all shared will last forever.
I will always remember cousin Mike for his big smile, kind heart, and how he loved to laugh. There are a lot of happy funny memories of Mike and our Wiley-Fortun cousins while growing up. We are sending love and prayers to Mary, Owen, and the extended family during this tough time.
