Went to be with the Lord

Michael (Mike) Lee Weekley, age 46, from Mason, Michigan went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2023. Mike was born in Lapeer, Michigan on February 2,1977, to Bernard Weekley and Clarice Teare.

To those who knew Mike, knew him as a kind friend and a godly man who persevered through many adversities. He was honest and reliable with a hearty laugh and a heart full of passion for life. Mike enjoyed several hobbies including hunting, fishing, kayaking, going to the arcades, attending concerts, collecting sports cards and other memorabilia. Previously he was also a member of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of America before High school. Mike was a founding member of Compass Church in Mason, Michigan and was last employed at Electronic Outlet of Lansing. 

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Bernard, and his step-father, Phillip Teare. He is survived by his daughter Lita Weekley of Mason and his mother Clarice Teare also of Mason.

A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 AM on March 9th, 2023 at Compass Church located at 5000 W Columbia Rd, Mason, MI 48854. Visitation with family will take place one hour before services. A luncheon will follow the service in the fellowship hall. (Please note: Compass Church shares the building with Columbia Road Baptist Church)
