Mike's obituary

Michael Ross Wearin born in San Jose, CA on July 27, 1961 passed away unexpectedly on December 27, 2020 in Fresno, Ca. He leaves behind his wife of thirty years Windy Krueger and their two sons Michael R Wearin Jr and Carl J Wearin.
Mike graduated high school in Grande Island Nebraska. He attended Karnie State for three semesters and decided school wasn't for him. He had various jobs trying to find his calling. He found his love of carpentry. He loved to create things and build things that would last. He always wanted to build a stone house that would out live the centuries.
He spent 5 years of his life in New York, where both his sons were born. He made many friends there through work and softball games. He developed a love for garlic and Sunday tradition of bagels and lochs.
Mike loved being a dad. He was the go to dad for all the boys in the neighborhood. He loved to fix their bikes, their motorcylces and to make sure they were fed. He loved to cook. He loved to read and learn new things. He was a big sports fan. He loved to talk a good game. He will always be a Oakland A's fan, San Francisco 49er fan and forever a Nebraska Corn Husker.He wasn't a social person, but he had friends that he would do anything for whether they were right or wrong he would be there for them. He bragged about his cousins Carl and Cully to all his friends. He admired both of them.
He always called Bill Donohue his best friend. He could not see him for months and talk to him as though he just saw him yesterday.
Mike had been working in Fresno for the last 6 years flipping homes with his mom Faye Wearin. He spent the last 4 years living at his home in Fresno to be near his mom who had trouble with her health. He would do anything for her. It was hard on him to see his mom's health declining.
He developed a new friendship with Randy, Armando and Joe. They were good friends with his brother Jim and now they were his friends. They always sat on the porch in front of the house and talk sports, politics, cars and dogs. Every dog he owned, he rescued. He loved animals. He was a smart, handsome man with a huge heart. He would do anything for his friends and family.
