Michael Alan Watson, born to Edward and Alice Watson, of Gillespie, IL passed on the 27th of January, 2023.  

Michael served in the United States Air Force before spending a career in Aviation Maintenance Control.  He is survived by his widow, Tammy Watson, of Belle Plaine, KS.  In addition, Michael is survived by a son Brandon Watson of Wichita, KS and a daughter, Samantha Watson of Wichita, KS, a brother, David Watson of Wichita, KS, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Michael is proceeded in death by his parents, Edward and Alice Watson, of Gillespie, IL as well as his first wife, Sharita, of Garden Plains, KS.

Visitation will be Tuesday morning at 10am at Shelley Family Funeral Home in Winfield, KS.  There will also be a family visitation that evening at 7pm.  Memorials may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.
