Angela Washington - Petta
Opening Remarks:
Thank you for everyone attending via in person and Zoom for the memorial of Michael Washington, my father. Your love and support are truly appreciated.
23rd Psalm:
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Eulogy:
Michael Nathaniel Washington was born on March 20, 1951 to Millard & Jacqueline Washington in San Francisco, CA. He was a brilliant and inquisitive child. He never stopped being curious about the world around him. He attended Santa Monica High School & graduated in June of 1968. He had a few jobs prior to starting at TRW in 1971. He married Donna Maria Reid Washington on June 27, 1971. December 30, 1971, his & Donna’s daughter was born. 1971 was a busy year for Dad, right? He changed jobs in 1994 to the United States Air Force and retired in 2008. In August of 2013 he moved with his wife to join his daughter and son-in-law to Las Vegas, NV. He passed away on December 8, 2022 from complications of double pneumonia, ARD (acute respiratory distress) & sepsis. We will always love and miss you, Dad.
