Michael Ward Thomas (1965-2022) survived by parents Jim and LaNeita; daughter Mckenzye, brothers Scott (Judy) and Steve (Melissa); nieces, nephews, cousins and faithful dog (DeeOgee). Mike graduated from Benson High school in 1984. Mike was employed by the Cherokee Nation and worked in Oklahoma building and maintaining horse racetrack's. He worked at various locations around Omaha when he lived here including Omaha Country Club, Payless Cashways, Mickey Finns, Trackside, and Media Integrators climbing towers. A Memorial service will be held at the former Northside Christian church where Mike grew up going. Now (Pleasant Green church) 56th Fowler Saturday January 21st at 10:30 with a taco snack bar to follow. Memorials to St. Jude children's research hospital.  Mike was loved by many and will be missed.
