In loving memory of Michael D. Valt, 69, of Pearland, TX, who passed away on September 17, 2022.   Born on August 8, 1953.  He is proceeded in death by his parents, Charles and Nancy Valt.  He is survived by his devoted wife of over 30 years and loving father of daughter, Mindy Martinez and fiancé Mitchell Bruce, daughter, Tonya and husband, Curtis Davis and son, Walter (WR) Pounds and girlfriend Brandy  Smith.  As well as loving Papaw of his 10 grandchildren, Michael Martinez, Noah Courtney, Aaron Flores, Nathan Courtney, Cole Pounds, Hannah Henry, Jordan Smith, Ashley Bruce, Georgia Bruce and Gunner Bruce.  Younger brothers, Dennis (Dino) Valt and Pat and wife Darlene Valt.  He will be deeply missed by all and those who knew him.

One of the kindest souls on this planet, our father was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He faced every challenge in life with admirable strength and courage.

Early in life, our father learned the importance of hard work and he instilled that same work ethic into all of us. He was a man of strong beliefs and he taught us the importance of not only family, but hard work and doing what is right.

Our father was a true role model who we will always look up to. 

The visitation will be held at 10:00AM-10:30AM (Private), 10:30AM-11AM (Public) at Forest Park East Funeral Home, 21620 Gulf Freeway, Webster, TX 77598.  A funeral service will follow Sunday, September 25, 2022  from 11:00AM-12:00PM at Forest Park East Funeral Home, with graveside service immediately following.

 Daddy, you are now at peace but you will live on forever in our hearts. We love you so much.  Rest in peace until we meet again.
