Michael E. Valadez, age 63, of Aurora, passed away on March 24, 2026.

Michael was born on February 10, 1963, in Chicago to the late Joan and Al Valadez. He spent much of his life in the Chicago area and later made his home in Aurora.

Michael lived life in his own way and followed the interests that mattered most to him. He was an avid bowler and spent many hours at the lanes over the years, enjoying the competition and the rhythm of the game. Golf was another passion, and he took pride in time spent on the course and following the sport he loved.

He is survived by his wife, Debi Rouse; his son, Brandon Rouse-Valadez; his stepson, Justin Moore; and his sister, Monica Borkowski (Rick). He was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Al Valadez.

Life and relationships are rarely simple, and Michael’s story was one of many chapters and experiences. Those who crossed paths with him carry their own memories of the moments they shared, both big and small, that become part of a life remembered. He will be remembered by those who knew him and shared parts of his life.

Mike was laid to rest with military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, honoring his years of service in the United States Navy.
