Mike was one of the best fleet managers that I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He was a dear friend, we loved to fish together. Our last trip together we went snapper fishing out of Panama City and had a blast! We were already talking about summer trips to visit Ross and another grouper or snapper trip with Cephus. When I visited Panama City I always park in the back. His was the first office I visited to catch up on things. You will truly be missed my friend.

Mike as your mother in-law , I watched you and Brandy grow your love and your family! You were a great man with many talents and yes I will miss your cooking! I know this wasn't your choice but I trust that God has a big plan for you! I will miss your unique laugh and the many funny facial expressions. My heart breaks for my daughter and the kids Hailey & Jessie but knowing you Mike you will always be near watching and guiding them through life, maybe its just a memory of some quiet talks you shared with them, that they will always remember or maybe in a time of need you will be there as a whisper in the wind, gently guiding them, on their journey though life. I love and miss you big guy, until we meet again Rest in Peace.

Sweetheart,

I miss you… there are no words to describe how broken I feel without you. You were my joy… and you were my rock. With you I felt safe and loved, and I just wish I could feel your arms wrapped around me one more time – there is no other place in the world I would rather be. I hope you know how much I loved you. You meant the world to me and always will. I would have followed you to the end of the earth and I did, and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. My heart just aches and I’m heartbroken to think about a life without you… it will never be the same.

Who is going to make me smile when I feel like crying?
Or make me laugh (at the most inappropriate times)?
Or talk me off the ledge when the kids are being kids?
I never wanted to do this alone…
You were by far the better part of me… and I feel so utterly lost.

I love you the most BBQ, and forever and always will.

I know I’ll see you again, and while that gives me hope… it sure doesn’t fix my broken heart. Please ask the Lord to give me the strength I’m going to need to raise these kids… and watch over us, it’s not going to be easy.
