It is with great sadness that Michale Patrick Toms 54, passed away Wednesday October 16, 2025 at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

He was born October 31, 1970 to the late Robert Toms and Pamela Toms of Martinsville.

Mike  was a graduate of Martinsville High School and went on to teach at Central Nine Trade School for several years before becoming a self-employed building contractor. He built and renovated many homes in the community. He was an active member and former bishop of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in Martinsville. He loved sports. He enjoyed coaching and attending countless games to support his kids. Mike was a devoted family man, who was a tremendous cook and loved hosting Sunday dinners for his family.

He is survived by his Mother Pamela Toms of martinsville  brother Shawn Toms of Martinsville; sisters , Regina Gary (husband Bryan) of FL and April Toms of Martinsville.

Preceding him in death is his father, Robert Toms of martinsville.

Visitation is 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday October 18, 2025 at Costin Funeral Chapel. Services are 11:00 a.m. Monday October 20, 2025 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Martinsville with an hour of visitation prior to the service starting at 10:00 a.m

Mike will be laid to rest at Liberty Church Cemetery in Monroe County. Though he will be deeply missed, His family will carry his love and memories in their hearts until we are all united once again.
