Ofelia, Michael, and Family,

We intensely grieve with you. Michael Jr. was such a sweet, fun little friend to Jackson, and our memories of him on Lititz Pike are very dear. From the school bus pick up to snowboarding in your yard to summer time ventures, our boys had good fun. He was always full of energy and smiles. 

May Jesus overwhelm you with His peace.  We send you hugs and love from far away.

On behalf of Topeka Public Schools, our condolences are extended and our thoughts and prayers are with you.   We had the privilege of having Michael in our schools since elementary school.   His past classmates and teachers shared that Michael was a kind young man who many teachers remember from State Street, Chase and Topeka High. He was always willing to help others and will be missed by many students. May your positive memories uplift you and comfort you.

Please know that your TPS family mourns with you and we will continue uplifting Michael through acts of kindness done in his memory as he transitions into his new life.
