THOMPSON, MICHAEL EDWARD, age 23, of Hoover, died Saturday, May 8, 2004. He attended Hoover High School and was an honors student at Virginia College. He is survived by his parents, Pony Thompson and Jim Thompson; sister, Judy T. Gibson (Ryan); Grandparents, Robert H. and June O. Howe, Evelyn Harper, and Willow Dean Glenn; fiancée, Emily Neff. 

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 10, 2004 at the Bluff Park United Methodist Church at 7:00PM. The family will be receiving friends at the church Monday evening beginning at 6:00PM. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to a charity of your choice. Johns-Ridout' s Funeral Parlor Southside Chapel is directing.
