Michael Christopher ("Bones") Thomison, 49 years, 3 months, and 9 days died July 23, 2025 at his residence. He was a life-long resident of the Rossville, GA area and was preceeded in death by his parents: Delbert Thomison and Martha Isbell Thomison.

Michael loved his friends and dogs, Rowdy and Dolly, until they passed away a few years ago. He enjoyed music and was especially fond of his Brother, Lebron , whose unwavering presence brought strength, joy, and support throughout Michael’s days. Equally significant was his sister-in-law, Rita Todd Thomison, whose importance was unmistakably evident—Michael chose to inscribe her contact information by hand on his living room wall, a clear and permanent testament to the role she played in his life.

He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law: Lebron and Faye Thomison of Chickamauga, GA; Ted and Rita Todd Thomison of Chattanooga,  Several Nieces and Nephews and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Michael's Life will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. EDT at the Rossville Church of Christ, 1100 McFarland Ave, Rossville, GA 30741. Larry Gordy will officiate. Pallbearers will be Nick Thomison and Tim Boatwright.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Michael's memory to the Rossville Church of Christ Food Pantry.
