Michael Taylor, 72, was born in Spokane in 1948, the only child of Albert and Lois Taylor. Mike passed away peacefully in his sleep on the afternoon of Thursday, September 10, 2020 with his beloved wife Laura by his side. Mike attended Battle Ground High School and the University of Washington. He was a huge fan of golf and enjoyed getting out on the green whenever he could with his brother-in-law Mike Myers, his best friend Denny Lein, and his work buddies from Ferguson. He enjoyed gardening and outdoor blues concerts with his wife and friends. During the holidays, the whole family looked forward to his amazing pumpkin pie, a recipe passed down from his mom.

Mike was brilliant and witty. His family joked about having him on Jeopardy, as he was a warehouse of broad and sometimes random knowledge. He was survived by his wife, Laura Taylor, two step-daughters, LaReé Stashek and Cailey Felton, and cousin, Cal Bashaw. Through the good times and the rough, Mike was the rock of his family, and will be forever missed.
