Michael G. Swan passed peacefully at home on February 19, 2019. His battle with prostate cancer over the past 6 years ended with the support of family, friends and Cornerstone Hospice to assure his wish to dying at home.
His dogs Bell and Lucky were by his side. He was a chef for over 40 years. Before his retirement he worked at the Swan and Dolphin; Starwood.
He is survived by his wife Shiela and step-son Jack. His oldest sister, Barbara Davis continues to live in Florida. He was predeceased by his sister Dorothy and Myra.
He has 13 nieces and nephews that survive him.
He decided early on to donate his body to medical research MedCure.
His ashes will be scattered in Ponce Inlet, Florida after the research project has ended.
