It is with deep sorrow and fond remembrance that we announce the passing of Michael Rush Southern, who left us on November 6, 2025. Born on July 19, 1938, in Henderson, Kentucky, to Hazel Marie and Woodrow “W.D.” Southern, Michael’s life was a shining example of kindness, honesty, and humility. We're planning a "Celebration of Life Ceremony" and thinking sometime in June/ July (leaning more towards July) in Cloudcroft, N.M. as this was one of "Pop's" favorite places to go when he wanted to relax. We will let everybody know dates, times, and locations etc. etc. as we finalize plans. Thank you all for being so understanding in this difficult time.
