He leaves behind his devoted daughter Lauren Shouse, son Michael Shouse JR, cherished granddaughter Carolyn Wrigglesworth, and grandson Michael Shouse III. He is predeceased by his late son, Matthew Shouse. His memory will live on through his beloved family and many friends.
Graduating from Glen Este High School, OH in 1972, Michael soon joined the Marine Corps in 1973, demonstrating his enduring commitment to service and community. His collaborative spirit enabled him to work with Tom McClanahan in 1985 to establish El Coyote, further rooting his legacy in the community. His dedication to progress and rebuilding was evident when he rebuilt his home after a devastating tornado in 1997.
Throughout his life, Michael was a jack of all trades, always ready to lend a hand. Whether tending to his family, his businesses, or the oasis he created from the wilderness at Big Indian (frequently from atop his faithful tractor), Michael instilled a strong work ethic in those around him.
