Hi, Loree--I only learned of Mike's passing when I saw his name a couple days ago "In Memoriam" in the 50-year reunion announcement for the UMR class of 1976 .  I tried several times through the years to find his contact information after we lost touch.  Only now  did I learn belatedly that he shared my enthusiasm for high elevations and adventure.

My sincere condolences to you and your family for the loss of both Mike and then your brother Dale less than a year later!

Happy birthday Mike. Miss you. Happy trails ❤

May you find peace during this difficult time.  I met Mike during our employment at State Fund and he was a kind and knowledgeable co-worker.  You could feel his love, joy, and pride when he talked about his kids.  I especially enjoyed his story of churning ice cream growing up.

Dean, Andrea and family, my deepest condolences on the loss of your father Mike.  He was my cousin and I have great memories of him from family visits and holidays we spent together when we were kids.

I look forward to meeting all of you soon.

2000, Cairo, Egypt
My father was a world traveler and in 2000 during his trip to Egypt he had a perfume made consisting of 6 essences from the letters of my name. He would go on to use this as the base for a perfume he had made for distribution across Asia. It would go on to be carried at Takashimaya in Bangkok, Thailand. — with Dad in Cairo with the perfume essence vendor

Mike sat across from me at work when I first started at the company 22 years ago and gave me some great advice. Over the years we separated departments, but whenever we saw each other he always had kind words. We would briefly talk about family and life beyond work. I will always remember him, he will surely be missed. My condolences to the family.

I have lots of good childhood memories with Mike, my cousin. I met both of you at your grandmother's funeral.  You have my condolences.  Linda
