Thinking of you today, on your 68th Birthday, with love and wonderful memories.

Love, Cris (Sis)

I'd like to express my condolences to Mike's family. I had sought Mike's advice as a CPA few years ago. I was unable to engage him at the time, but he was very generous with his time, knowledgable, and above all genuine and kind. By the time I was ready to hire him, he told me he was sick. I was saddened to learn from the email sent out to clients he had passed. I'm sorry for your loss.

You will be missed, such a good  guy. You made growing up fun . Be at peace my friend, no more pain. May happiness and sunshine beam down on your family so they feel your love always

Just learned the sad news of Mike’s passing. I knew Mike from 7th to 12th grade and played tennis with him during this time… he was always one spot ahead of me on the school teams. Even at an early age, he was an ambitious and driven individual - to such an extent that he stood out. All people you meet in life have traits that “rub off” on you, and this trait of Mike’s did impact me and others in our young circle. We are all better people for having known Mike, even if our time was relatively short. My sincere condolences to the family he left behind.

I’ve known Mike all my life.  The Turners & the Stauffers have been like one family since the late 50’s when our parents founded Northwood Institute/University

I have loved Mike like a brother. Spending holidays together, birthdays, vacations, Northwood events, weddings, and other special occasions!  Our families were pretty inseparable. Most loved were our 4th of July vacations up at Higgins Lake in Michigan. We have countless memories over many years of our good times together.  Our kids all grew up together up there!!

Mike and I recently spent a fair amount of time together working with Northwood on a sculpture of our parents to honor their legacy of founding Northwood.  Mike being an artist, and esp portraits, was invaluable with the sculptor with his details of finishing touches to each person.  He has left his mark forever on these wonderful bronze statues forever on the campus in Midland MI

Mike was a kind soul.  Wonderful person to all around him.  His spirit was with us at this past weekend unveiling/dedication of the Founders Statue.  I felt him there with us.  It was emotional and special.  I will miss Mike. Gone way too soon. But reunited with his Mom, Dad, sister Kathy and his second set of parents…my Mom & Dad!   Love you Mike.

So sorry to all the Turner Family esp Elaine, Mark, Stephanie and Scott

Love Jeff
