Michael Giovonni Verderosa, age 42, of Brownsville died unexpectedly Sunday, January 21, 2018, at home.

He is survived by his wife of fifteen years, the former Johannah Lynn Stephens.

Born October 21, 1975, in Queens, NY, he was the son of the late Michael A. Satriano and the late Diane (Jablonowski) Gilligan. He was a graduate of Richmond Hills High School. A manager at Pathmark, he loved to ride his motorcycle, especially in charity runs.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children: Thomas, Michael and Mark, all at home; two sisters: Antoinette Verderosa of Sterling, and Dyan Gilligan of The Hideout, and many nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Friday, January 26, beginning at 5 PM at O'Rielly Funeral Home, 137-40 Brookville Blvd, Rosedale, NY 11422 . The Gathering will begin with family and friends invited to share thoughts and memories following by visitation and fellowship until 7 PM. The funeral will be held Saturday, January 27, at 3:00 PM at Amity Baptist Church 164-18 108th Avenue Jamaica NY 11433.
