Michael L. Rushing died on August 13th, 2025, five days short of his 75th birthday. Mike, a man of few words and many friends, was known for his unbending integrity, sharp mind, persistence, and loyalty.
Mike was born in Terrell, Texas to Cecil and Eunice “Pete” Rushing. An “Army brat”, his early life involved frequent moves to U.S. Army posts in Texas, Virginia, Okinawa, Washington, and New Mexico. When his father transitioned from active to …
