Tommy's obituary
Michael Thomas “Tommy” Reyna, 50, of Krum, Texas, passed away on December 26, 2025, in Krum. He was born in Garland, Texas, and grew up in Flower Mound, where many of the friendships and family bonds that shaped his life began.
Tommy was a devoted son, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his parents, Tony and JoAnn Reyna; his children, Alyssa Nolen, her husband Colten, and their daughter Jovie, and his son Thomas Reyna; his brother Kelly Reyna and his wife Debbie, and their children Colton and Jenna, and his brother Bob Reyna and his fiancée Michelle; and close friends Robbie Kachiros and his wife Dixie. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Natha and Thomas Arthur, and Cruz and Maria Reyna.
A graduate of Marcus High School and DeVry University, Tommy followed in his father’s footsteps as a telecom engineer, a career he took pride in. More than any job title, however, Tommy defined himself by his family. He was endlessly proud of his children, Alyssa and Thomas, and absolutely adored his granddaughter, Jovie—showing up early, often, and always with quiet devotion.
Tommy was a man who showed love through presence and action. He brought his mother Starbucks every weekend, talked with his dad every day, taught him how to bass fish—turning it into a shared passion—and never hesitated to open his home to someone who needed a place to land. He cherished time spent golfing and eating chicken wings with his brother Bob, watching sports with friends and family, and being there when it mattered most.
He loved sports, especially the Dallas Cowboys of the Aikman era and Tom Brady, along with fishing, hunting, golfing, riding Harleys, fast cars, and trips to the mountains with his kids. He enjoyed rap music, especially Eminem, and was known as someone quiet but funny and charismatic—content to be among people, taking it all in, sharing a laugh at just the right moment.
Above all else, Tommy was a family man. His love was steady, practical, and deeply felt, and his absence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
