I am so sorry for this tragic loss. I love you both.
I am saddened to learn this. Mike was always kind, happy and fun. Erika, I am deeply sorry. Sending you ❤️ love, old friend. ❌⭕️
Mike was such a bright light in this world. His infectious love for music and for his friends and family will be treasured forever! NFA!!!! ❤
Michael was always like a really cool older brother to me. When he came in, he always had his guitar. I wish I got to hear him play more. I got to play with him once, I distinctly remember singing country roads with him in my home near Gandeeville as a kid while I tried my best to keep up and strum chords. I wasn't very good, but I just thought it was cool to hangout with someone so into all kinds of good music. I haven't played much recently, but his memory inspires me to pursue my passion of music. I really connected with him in 2020, talking about all kinds of music(especially Grateful Dead), and sending my sister Erika some pepperoni rolls for her birthday. I was so excited to get to know him more because I felt that deep connection through music. I know he had so many stories to tell, and he's still strumming his guitar and telling them somewhere. Rest in peace Mike. I'll be jamming in your honor far into the future. I also remember how much you loved your dog, Syd. You're running with him again somewhere.

Michael was a chronic pain warrior. He fought for over a decade after an accident left him in a really bad way. I had solidarity with him in that, having chronic pain myself, but I know it was nothing compared to what he faced. There is solace in the fact he will feel this pain no longer. Mike I'll never stop fighting, I'll never stop listening to good music, and I'll never forget the special person you were.
