With sadness, we share that Michael Richard Raymond, 74, died on February 17, 2023. He was born to George and Eleanor (Murphy) Raymond on September 8, 1948 in Pontiac, Michigan. Michael served in the U.S. armed forces and was a Vietnam veteran. He is and will be missed by his family and friends.

Michael is preceded in death by his parents, George and Eleanor (Murphy) Raymond and his siblings, Donald Raymond, James (Amy) Raymond, George (Colleen) Raymond, and Phyllis (late Leo) VandenBossche.

He is survived by his siblings, Marguerite (late Jerry) McHaney, William (late Anna) Raymond, Mary Raymond, Sarah (late Dennis) DePalma, and Bernard Raymond; many nephews, nieces, and extended family; and dear friends.

Family and friends honored the life of Michael Raymond at Great Lakes National Cemetery on Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
