Obituary: Michael Garrison Ray favorably known as ‘Mole’ passed away on 06/20/2022 at the age of 64 at the Samaritan Center at Voorhees. Michael Ray is survived by his loving children (2) sons Sherron O. Williams, Elton Ray, (4) daughters Lakesha S. Williams, Nyisha S. Williams, Arleea S. Williams, Siani China Marie Carr, (2) step-daughters, Sherell Calloway, Malese Calloway, (19)grandchildren and (3) great-grand children. Mole is also survived by his (4) siblings Portia Ellis, Johnathan Ray (wife Petrina Ray), Rodney Ray (wife Lori Ray), and Elton Charles Ray and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Shelly Calloway, mother Peggy McDaniel, father Elton Ray, siblings Anthony Blake, Eleana Ray, Patricia Blake, and his eldest son Elijah Garrison Williams. His legacy of love, strength, and perseverance will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone he has interacted with as well as those he reached but never met. Michael Ray was a man of God that he served faithfully by providing the message of forgiveness and everlasting love to all that would listen. The children of Michael Ray want to give a special thank you to Aunt Penny, cousin Kanesha Ellis, cousin Twyla Blake and all the nurses and doctors that watched over him during his time of need. Michael Ray left a special message for his family and friends before he left this world: ‘ I know this is a hard time, I know that you all will be sad but remember as I leave this world, I will be welcome into heaven by my son Elijah, hugged by my mother Peggy and meeting my father that I haven’t since since I was a child. Hold on to memories of me reading the Bible, smiling, and enjoying life!!!!’ There will be a Funeral services held Wednesday, June 29th 2022 at Higher-Ground Temple, 203 Vine St. Camden, New Jersey 08102 to say our final goodbyes.
